FTX 09-19 is pushed to the second weekend of the month to accommodate reduced attendance around Thanksgiving weekend. FTX 09-19 will be held Sun 08Dec19.

Following training on Tue 17Dec19, 4th MRB and its supporting SOCOM elements will return to the continental US, to Camp Lejeune North Carolina, where it will be stood down for the holiday season and well-deserved extended R&R.

Please enjoy your time off wisely with your family and friends to rest, relax, blow off steam, and recharge your Arma batteries.

Standing down will commence Wed 18Dec19. From that date there will be no official unit-wide training sessions nor operations. Instructors and students are approved to continue their training cycles on a voluntary basis by mutual consent, as individual availability allows; but I stress there must be no expectation from either party around this.

All personnel are ordered to return to duty Mon 13Jan20, reporting back to company headquarters which will have returned to Camp Currin, Bozcaada, Çanakkale, Turkey.

First session of the year will be a final MSOT 8410 pre-deployment work-up session Tue 14Jan20 1900 CT, following which the unit will deploy overseas.

If you are currently in reserves and plan to return to active duty early in the New Year, I encourage you post your reactivation during stand down so that we can plan around it.
