The BMW 325is earned its reputation during the E30 era (1987–1991), where it stood as the sport-focused trim of the iconic 3-series. Powered by the smooth and rev-happy M20 inline-six, the E30 325is combined balanced chassis dynamics with classic BMW styling, making it one of the most celebrated driver’s cars of its time. Its lighter weight, responsive handling, and analog feel helped define what enthusiasts still consider the “golden age” of BMW.

While the E46 325i/325Ci introduced modern comforts, improved refinement, and the durable M54 engine, it continued the same core philosophy: a practical, straight-six–powered sports coupe/sedan built for people who love the driving experience.
