Group for Civ Multi-Players Who Like to Play Sensibly

We love Civilization. Sadly, the online multi-player experience can be disappointing when people quit mid-game, use offensive and immature usernames or treat other players with little regard.

So we started this group for sensible people who have the personal maturity to play Civ in a sportsmanlike way. It's also a hub for players who like to complete games online.


- You have Brave New World and all DLC (we don't do vanilla, sorry)

- If you quit when things aren't going your way, then this group is not for you.
- If you sit down to play a game knowing that you have to leave before you can make substantial progress, this group is not for you.
- If you live with your parents and are subject to have to bail out on a game with no notice, this group is not for you.
- If you are a single parent and to dedicate your focus to an online game would result in neglect of your child, this group is not for you.
- If you are prone to display obnoxious behaviour (racism, sexism, rudeness, etc) this group is not for you.
- If your internet connection is like something from the 1990s and drops out all the time forcing others to wait while you try to connect over and over again this group is not for you.

Ok. We know that it isn't always feasible to sit down to a game that could span several hours all in one go. It's ok to let everyone know up front, "Hey, I've only got 2 hours. Can we save then and resume at a pre-arranged time tomorrow?" That's fine.

It's also ok if you suck at the game :P. Just don't quit!
