Unit Information

The unit will not be deploying to Guadalcanal just yet due to an error on my part. I apologize for that and can confirm that we are going to be doing events in the period and premise of the unit alongside what we've been doing for the past few days. Basically the idea is we will all practice to teach those who do not understand the extremely different mechanics to traditional modern-day units. This does not mean these events will be boring, but they will be instructional.

The unit is making changes across the board. We are going to move towards a more serious style of in-game events and things however out of game the unit is going to be largely unchanged with the exception of an addition Malarkey, Murillo, and I have been working on.

Event times are still the same but the events themselves will be in a more controlled environment. The basic system is in three parts, the first being a sort of instructional briefing on objectives and what should be exercised, the second is a controlled run-through against targets where we can call for the exercise to pause and we can talk about what went wrong and right with what just happened, and the third is live fire, possibly against actual targets if the first two went smoothly. Regardless at the end we will be fighting AI on one of the four courses already present or one of the three that are being added.

The modpack has also been updated.

We now have a dedicated server so performance will be much better and we can host various other missions both public and private.
