In 1966, the MACV Reconnaissance Commando School, an elite school for training Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol tactics to US Spec-ops, was created in Vietnam . The greuling 20 day course had a failure rate of 1/3, but those who succeed, gained valuable knowledge and capibilities.
