Part of the LSFG has been reworked to detect UI more effectively. As a result, a significant reduction in UI ghosting and less impact on the main image in case of incorrect detection.

New DXGI frame capture API, that should fix most performance issues, also allows the LS to be tied to the game's framerate and simply double the number of frames when frame generation is used. For the best LSFG experience, it is still recommended to lock the game's framerate to half the LS refresh rate (which can be limited by the vsync option). However, you can now also lock the game at any framerate or not lock at all, while LS will do its best to ensure the correct framepacing.

Introducing LSFG 1.0 - a universal frame generator that can be used for most games and not only. Designed from the ground up using machine learning to run on a wide range of GPUs, including integrated graphics cards. Can be used with or without scaling.
The recommended minimum to have the best quality is 60 FPS in a game and a 120 Hz monitor, but it can also be used in a combination of 30 FPS and 60 Hz in some games at a resolution of up to 1080p.

Based on machine learning, LS1 is a small and fast general-purpose neural network optimized for scaling factors in the 1x–2x range. LS1 has similar performance and image quality to FSR, while surpassing it in many cases.

• The latency has been improved. The "Low Latency" option has been removed as unnecessary;

Notes:
The sharpness setting is unified for both FSR and NIS in the range [0–1.0], where 1.0 is the maximum sharpness.

This is the 20th update since the release of the first version 1.4.0 with FSR support. I decided to post it as a major update to tell about the main changes that happened during this time for those who do not follow the forum.
The main efforts were spent on polishing the program, getting rid of bugs, improving stability and performance. Not without new features. Here are the main changes since version 1.4.0:
- The UI has been changed to better differentiate the settings of the scaling factor from its type and options for this type.
- LS now almost does not consume CPU time (about 1-2%). In the original version, it fully loaded one logical core.
- Added an optimized version of the FSR, which can be much faster than the original and is well suited to weaker GPUs.
- Added optimizations that reduced GPU usage by up to 20%.
- Added option to reduce latency, which allowed to get latency comparable to exclusive fullscreen.
- Added HDR support for hardware and games that support it.
- As well as many bug fixes and improvements for the stability of the program.

1.5.7 changes:
- Performance optimizations.
On my hardware, LS now uses 12% / 20% less GPU for FSR / FSR Lite, respectively, and 20% less VRAM when scaling 1440p to 4k. Let me know how it works for you.

- LS now handles changing game resolution when scaling.
You can change the resolution in the game settings while scaling. Note that the output resolution will not change in this case, so in essence you will be changing the scale factor.
