It's a very entertaining game to play a little of here and there already, and I can't wait to see where Jordy [the dev] is gonna take it. It's a great concept, and I could think of so many things to add that would only make it better. (#1 on my wishlist - aside from multiplayer - is arenas (and/or possibly a game mode) involving spiked pits, walls and other traps, and some effective ways to kick, shove or bash enemies into aforementioned traps...)

Anyway, definitely get this game. It's a great game to unwind with, and one that doesn't require a huge time commitment per session. I have yet to introduce it to anyone who didn't like it. The only negative I can think of is that sometimes the Time To Kill (TTK) can be a bit long; I mean, even a piece of driftwood with spikes on it should be lethal if used correctly. Or a frying pan for that matter. But don't let that minor detail (which may change in the future) detract you from buying this game; in my opinion it is worth full price already, and it's only going to get better going forwards.

Okay, last update with traits were so good, i have to leave review.

Got randomly traits for more damage in general and extra damage on breaking weapon.
Turned out with those two, all jugs, sticks and stones become very lethal weaponry that works even on late stages of game. Had a good run without need buying any weapon, only armour. Crowd were always fan of such tactics and it was fresh experience from game

Incredible game. Really fun, brutal, and satisfying

when people said this was jank, they meant it. The controls are weird, takes some getting used to not terrible but i never really felt like i knew what was doing. The camera is straight bad, too many camera controls, and the clipping on you and other enemies is rough.

I have hopes for this game, but it definitely feels early access besides the slick interfaces.

This game is the absolute answer!

It takes a little bit to get the hang of, but once you do YOU REALIZE HOW AMAZING THIS GAME IS.

The core loop is SOOOO satisfying (fight, train / lvl up, choose wisely, fight more). and the combat feels really good. Still a little buggy but SO MUCH POTENTIAL and already a TON OF FUN!

Finally a good game.

Fun at first, gets old fast even after updates. 2 handed weapons are hard to use and have been since the beginning and there seems to be no fix to it or get good. There are just a lot of things about the game that "need to be fixed" but are honestly part of the game. The nerfs to heirlooms and the shops are bad even with upgrades. Once you figure out a weapon's best way to attack, thats the only way to do it. Over head attacks were OP back then and now the good weapons all have a sweet spot that feels like the only spot. NPC Armor makes fights so annoying. I uninstalled a while ago and reinstalled recently to see updates and it was worth to see but not worth buying the game for.

almost 2 years of early access and the tutorial for controller is broken. would not buy from a dev who advertises as having controller support, but the tutorial doesn't even support them. immediate dealbreaker. refunding.
