Game is really fun. Since i've been waiting for updates on Rogue Tower that didn't ever came, this one feels like its sucessor. Needs some polishing but so far, has been super enjoyable.

An absolute classic of the TD genre, no questions. I was initially put off by the 'scale' of the game (in screenshots the enemies look tiny and somewhat cartoonishly ineffectual), but this 'smallness' is merely a function of how MASSIVE the battlefield gets, you can zoom in at any time as needed, and the enemy models are detailed and satisfying. Multiple game mechanics here that aren't standard to the TD genre, and they're used brilliantly to make this both classic AND original. Fair warning, this game is unfinished and there are many places where you'll encounter 'more content to come' messages, but given my 40 hours and counting, I have zero complaints, it only makes me psyched about the future! At this price point, this is a no-brainer for any TD fan. Fair warning, the 'medium' mode is pretty tough, so don't beat yourself up if you (like me) have to drop down to 'easy' to upgrade some functions before 'medium' becomes a little more achievable! The difficulty is due to an incredible level of game-balancing and not sadism - the difficulty builds wave to wave so you can see it coming from a mile off, you just may not be ready for it when it comes! Kudos to the folks behind this game - what can mistakenly look like "just another TD entry" from afar is an absolute gem, and one that will only grow into an all-time great TD game as more content is added!
