Which one is better?

Does anyone know how to get this working properly in Windows 8 and 10? Edit 2/26/19: Added 10 to the discussion topic, marked FearsCatalyst's post as topic answer.

Tried dgvoodoo2 & dxwnd on Windows 11 but neither worked or well. The older method of dropping 3 .dll files in the game folder fixes fps, but no widescreen. You can set the renderer to OpenGL then use Reshade to enhance the look....

So after a great deal of messing around, I've managed to port the KIS campaign into Ahriman's Gift. It's not perfect, and certainly won't be the same experience as playing the campaign in KIS, but it's fairly close for the people who wanted to carry on where the tutorial missions left off.
