I'm just curious what percentage of ppl playing this game are actual communists, socialists, etc. I personally am, although I don't consider myself a "maoist".

This leader doesn't make any sense and I'm not sure why he was chosen for his role. IRL Zhu was solidly in the reformist camp (rather than liberal) and was a competent technocrat type who didn't seem to have much ambitions for power or strong ideological convictions. In game he is a liberal who comes to power on the false premises of decommunizing/democratising the country, only to backstab the liberals and become an absolutist monarcho-stalinist new emperor.
