I get near any of the stones/trees and I swing my axe/pick and nothing happens. I'm using a Xbox controller and I've been click the R Trigger and my charcter is swinging the object but it's not making contact with anything. I even tried butting my character face on the tree and still nothing. Please tell me what am I doing wrong. TIA...

I've been playing with my daughter but she tunes out every time I have to go water the plants because it is very tedious to walk back and forth to the river and do each plant one by one. We pray for rainy days. Is there anything that we can buy later on to speed this up?...
