Decided to bite the bullet (pun intended) and will buy the game, not gonna even wait for a sale, because there are so few good shmups on Steam and the devs need encouragement. However, I need some advice. I heard the complete game is insanely difficult, even more difficult than the base game. Difficulty is not a huge issue for me (but I know I will struggle). So, to make things a little bit easier, do I buy the complete game now or do I buy the base game and upgrade later? Thanks for you patience!...

Hi, Not a huge deal, but in 4k full screen, all the text seems to be misaligned: for instance, the bottom part of the ship descriptions is cropped in the ship selection menu, or when highlighting menu items the bar is too thin and not well centered. Maybe a font scaling issue?...

The thing I liked about the original game was that on easy mode it felt like a more traditional old school shmup that was challenging but could be overcome with practice and felt like a journey through some interesting environments. It felt very much like thunder force. The hard modes were much more bullet hell and outside of my ability. Excited to play the new levels I just forced my way through Ignition with continue spam.
