I've loved DOA5 growing up and I actually like 6. But do people still play?

Remembering the good ol' days with DOA2 on the PS2, I felt the recent urge to get back into this series and decided to see if I could get it on the cheap by now, but then I see that they're not only still asking full price for this game, but even made it €10 more expensive? Are Koei Tecmo completely out of their minds? The game is 5 years old by now and apparently people are struggling to find online matches. If anything, this game should be €20 TOPS, with a heavy discount during sales. I still miss ...

The cover art got my attention, then a few screenshots awakened dark desires within me. Of course I'm not expecting any explicit content, but I'm just wondering if I can "get the job done" from what's offered naturally in the game. I know some may ask: No I don't have much interest in regular R18 explicit games, it doesn't do it for me....

im wanting to get all characters to level 17 or whatever to get their bgm, unlock all the costumes, and get the coins to buy said costumes. whats the best way of doing all that? ive looked into it but im only seeing things from around the release and i know theres been some changes since then. i was thinking just play online with each character but im not sure how active online is or if thats the best way to do it anyway. ive finished most of doa quest already...
