Tips on the Heart Piece Keyhunt?

I have been stuck at the heart piece maze, running from ghost and constantly getting into fights with Void Agro. And I have died way too many times. If you're someone who's been stuck at this bit, what's your tips to get through it? Any loopholes?

Unable to progress the story further

Hi, I think I'm halfway through the game (with 6+ hours of gameplay), but currently stuck. I'm currently in a place where I need to talk with other characters I've met and choose "right" choice in order to progress. But I've spent more than 30 minutes only to "walk in circles" where I was unable to choose "right" choice where my character got returned at starting point many times. Is possible to finish the game?

I am at what I think is the last boss, but during the cutscene before the fight, I get a loading screen and after few seconds the error "Failed to load: img/parallaxes/%20FULLBLKBG.png". Then I press A button and I get a new error "Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function" I am playing on Steam Deck, verifying integrity of game files didn't solve the issue....
