Diamo XL is an action arcade game.

In this game you have to move between points by traversing lines on the diamond on screen and avoid all the oncoming red shapes trying to kill you. The game gets progressively harder the higher your score is, introducing new mechanics every 100 points or so. Some mechanic makes it almost impossible to dodge the obstacles at some point and making it a lot harder to complete the diamond shape (which is timed), which causes the game to become really hard after 250-300 points.

What I wish I knew before going for 400 points is that you have to keep moving to keep your multiplier and the balls you unlock are actually faster and smaller than the one you start with. I never saw the stats on top of the balls, so I actually reached 500 with the starter ball. Cool achievement I guess, but that made it take a long time as well... With the later balls the game is easier, but it remains challenging nonetheless.

The graphics are nice, the gameplay is smooth and the soundtrack even if very repetitive is good. I encountered a few bugs throughout my gameplay however, one them which ruined one of my runs: what happens is that the game randomly start lagging and becoming super choppy. When that happen you're forced to wait it out/restart the game. Also when you close the game it gets stuck on a black screen and you have to manually close it via task manager. (From my experience anyway)

Overall, the game is fun and for $1 it's really worth it for the replayability and the challenge this game offers.
