Exactly what I was hoping it would be. Far superior to Battle Brothers in every regard, which I'll compare this too as it's a very similar type of game.

You run a company of mercs who you can fully customise. You don't feel in the least bit rushed and you aren't ending up with a ton of wounds after every battle (nor losing soldiers that you've invested time and money into).

The fights are balanced and plentiful, you're not spending 90% of your time travelling and 10% of the time fighting like you are in BB.

Plus you can actually save your game whenever you please! What a luxury!

Excellent tactical and strategic layers. Highly recommended if you like games like Battle Brothers. While it doesn't achieve that level of tactical exhilaration, the dungeon crawling / strategic aspects help make up for it.

This is quite a good game, it helps scratch the same itch as games like Battle Brothers (if you're being recommended this, Battle brothers might be for you). It's still not fully done with development, but is in a completely playable state, and is very fun to play at that.
