looks like there's no manual saving, which is a huge oversight and close to a dealbreaker even at the current price. so how does autosaving work in this game?

Otherwise that's a no buy for me.

I entered the village and got all the lamps lit and found the elevator puzzle. I got out of the program, and when I restarted it, the elevator is missing. Anyone have any ideas why or how to fix it?

I know I should be entering the year the person went missing, but I can't just get to make it work! Isn't the date 1935 ? (double click to see the date)
