Even after clicking "Advance setup" and setting everything up as close as I can get it - I still get a SERIOUSLY LAGGY main screen....... Does anyone have an idea on how to make this old gem work? This and Red Hammer are my favorite Arma games

I made custom face but its not working like do i need to add teeth? formate of face 256 x 256 but its just not going in menu just blank white i put it in users "MYNAME" why it is not workin?

At the start of each mission in the briefing, the journal and inventory are missing and I cannot access them during game play either, so trying to play the campaign with no idea what my mission objectives or inventory are. Anyone else having this issue? Or am I missing a button or option somewhere?...
