The game is great but even after 5 years it is horribly buggy. I do not know a single person who can get it to consistently launch, just can't recommend anyone spend money on this.

The base game has very few courses and in order to get the bikes and courses unlocked you have to pay.

I've played 8 hours and still haven't unlocked any additional bikes and courses. I've been stuck with the same 10 courses and two bikes the whole time. I've earned 5 "acorns" which are the money to unlock stuff. In order to unlock the next course I need 35 of these.... It's not a game with a lot of depth that would merit you playing for 100 hours just to get a few more courses. So, unless you're down to spend a fortune on DLC, don't buy it!

Maybe if you can get it and the DLC for really cheap, might be worth it but wait for a sale where its like $1 for the DLC.

$20 for this crap is ABSURD and a complete rip-off.

This review's existence just to remind you that Ubisoft can take this game away from you even when they aren't going to be bankrupt or cease to operate.

Remember "THE CREW 1", literally rob people in daylight even when Ubisoft still exists. It's understandable If they stop existing so their server can't provide authentication, but here, they're still operating.
