October 2 we'll have more info about Rebirth, the new Nobunaga's Ambition game, in the scheduled Tokyo Game Show's KOEI Tecmo stream. What people are expecting from it? Are you satisfied with the series recent trend of less intensive micro but stronger macro (war-diplo-commerce) seen in Taishi/RTK14, or would you like to see a return to SoI/Ascension and older titles with stronger micro even if that means weaker warfare-diplo? Or maybe a balance of both? Or something else entirely? A well-made officer ...

I'm trying to figure out how to get Dragoons and wonder if they're part of the Power Up Kit for the game console version. I have the PC version and I found that Masamune Date has the Dragon's Rise Resolve which has Dragoons as one of the clan resolve traits. The only reference to Dragoons here on this discussion board says something about it being clan specific. I'm wondering if it's Resolve specific where if any clan chooses the Dragon's Rise resolve then it would be eligible to get Dragoons. I also wond...

How is Taishi compared to SoI and Ascension? There's always mixed reviews for all of these games it's hard to find a general consensus on which ones are good and which ones aren't. If anyone out there could attempt to clear the air I would greatly appreciate it, thank you in advance....

I'm glad I bought the Taishi version instead of the new Ascension version, I enjoy it so much better than I know I would enjoy the newer version. This is the first game with a tactical battle feature which I actually enjoy playing, The new tactical battle feature in Ascension is a dumbed down child's version which wouldn't be as much fun as Taisi's. I like doing the battles myself rather than doing the auto-resolve. I enjoy the Council feature with the Tech Tree feature a lot, I have fun with the policies....
