As a fan of the "Our Life" games, I almost didn't play this game because of some of the reviews--particularly those complaining about lack of choices and customization--but it's honestly very enjoyable! It's different from the "Our Life" games because it's a different kind of game. The MC is her own character, and the point is to learn about her and the other characters as you go along, not "build a life" with a personalized MC. But the script is still written by GB Patch, guys! The characters are great and the writing is hilarious.

Also, coming from RPGs with relationship mechanics like Story of Seasons or Persona where it can take fifty hours to see a character's full story, the "grind" between story bits in XOXO is practically nothing.
