When toggle to fullscren, the image turns to black and only the sound and comands keep working. Returning to windowed mode, the game screen back to work

hey guys, had the game working before the update now im just getting a greyed out full screen but i can hear the music and I can hear the menu scroll sound when you move the arrow keys, is anyone else having this issue?

I'm getting the messages displaying in the game, but I'm still at 0 achievements on Steam. Any ideas? P.S. I love the game. Good work.

The Steam overlay doesn't seem to be working for me. Hitting Shift + Tab doesn't open it and the shortcut to capture screenshots doesn't work. I also see that there are achievements but they aren't triggering. I got the little in-game notifiers for completing certain feats but the Steam achievement tracker doesn't show that I've earned anything. Though when I look at the global achievement stats it seems some players have been able to earn them so not sure what the issue is for me. Anyone else having these...
