"Devil May Cry 5" is a triumphant return to form for the beloved franchise, delivering a devilishly good time filled with stylish action and epic battles. As a fan of Dante myself, I can't help but appreciate the way this game pays homage to the series' roots while also introducing fresh elements to keep things exciting.

Playing as Dante is an absolute blast – his flashy moves and cocky attitude never fail to put a smile on my face. But I have to admit, when it came to playing as Nero, it didn't quite click for me. That's just a personal preference, though, as I know many others enjoy his playstyle and character.

However, diving into the shoes of V was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. Controlling his unique playstyle adds a refreshing twist to the gameplay, keeping things dynamic and engaging.

Overall, "Devil May Cry 5" is a devilishly good time that's sure to please fans old and new. With its fast-paced combat, memorable characters, and stunning visuals, it's a must-play for anyone craving some stylish action. I'd give it a solid 8/10 – just keep in mind that personal preferences may vary when it comes to certain characters.

DMC 5 is a great game, although it is obvious that it could be a lot better. First off, there is no middle character between entry-level character (V/Nero) to Dante in the story campaign. Adding something in between like how Vergil plays will make the transition better from easy-to-use characters to a complex one. V, especially, is a big problem. He's a really nice concept but executed poorly. Most of his attacks come from his pets/familiars so you do combo while juggling between looking at your familiars and where V is. Most of his charged attacks can be canceled if you double jump or dash which is frustrating because those are the only tools for V's defensive abilities. Moreover, Nightmare is too overpowered and on autopilot. He's too easy to use and not that satisfying to master. On Mission 14, his combat flaws are so evident due to how the mission strips V out of his pets abilities. He should be the middle character between Nero as entry-level to Dante as the complex character but instead he's much more geared towards players who are not good at action game.

Story and characters in DMC5 are mostly pretty good with nice character development from Nero to how V (Vergil) sort of redeems himself in the end and Dante being charismatic as always but Trish and Lady are so underutilized, only relegated to being in the background with Nico. The ending, while it is good, feels a bit rushed. There should have been 2-3 more missions to further flesh out what goes on through Vergil's mind after what he has been through as V throughout the game. Or rather than more epilogue missions, Vergil's own campaign should have a couple more unique ones, with his own story to further flesh out his character.

Overall, a great action game that have many combat depth especially with Dante and Vergil, although Nero and especially V lack complexity and movesets. It still ends on a pretty good note while opening up many opportunity for future game.

Devil May Cry 5 is like that wild party you're not sure you should have gone to, but boy, are you glad you did! It's a non-stop adrenaline ride filled with stylish combat, over-the-top characters, and enough demon-slaying action to make your thumbs beg for mercy. Dante, Nero, and V are back with a vengeance, and let's just say, the demons never stood a chance against their killer moves and killer one-liners. The graphics are so good, you'll want to frame them, and the music? It's like a symphony of chaos that somehow makes perfect sense. If you're looking for a game that's as insane as it is entertaining, Devil May Cry 5 is your ticket to gaming nirvana. Just remember to take breaks to breathe, or you might find yourself crying tears of joy and laughter along with the demons!
