Just re-experienced this game for a second time after I first completed it many years ago on the 3DS.
It's just as addictive and fun as I remembered it. This game (alongside the first SteamWorld Dig) is one of my favorite 2D platformers ever.

The mining gameplay is incredibly fun, the upgrade economics have the perfect pacing (you constantly get new upgrades and abilities, it never gets boring) and the artstyle is gorgeous.

Absolute 100% recommendation, please play this <3
