my rig exceeds the minimum requirements for this game but everytime i select new game it just seems to freeze up and not work. anyone else having this issue? bit frustrated

i tried messing with the window screen display, screen resolution, and graphic quality and nothing has worked so far. the intro is kinda slow as well and guy looks like hes speed walking but not going anywhere.

As you'll see from a quick look through the reviews and Discussions, I'm far from the only person to have constant crashing problems. It's getting to the point where I'm almost afraid to bring up the phone, 'cause it seems to have a fair chance of crashing to desktop every time. Other people have mentioned other save/crashing problems in their comments, and then there's the slow walking issues (which only seem to improve as one lowers the graphics settings)... What are the endings to the game? I've heard there's a few but I'm not one for horror games and im not interested in buying this one. It just popped up and I watched some let's play. And I'd prefer not to watch another one.
