Is it possible to change background music by self?

It says I have items in my inventory but when i dock at the settlement the dock interface says my inventory is empty. I know this is release day but unless I'm doing something wrong, this kinda makes the game unplayable.

I get torn to shreds the moment i get detected, especially by dual wielding 70mm+ mechs... and they acquire me with pinpoint accuracy from off-screen (Maximum zoom distance from center) meaning I can't see them but they can see me. Is this the design intent? I can't find controls that let me 'zoom out farther' or the like to help acquire targets easier. CQB is just not possible at early stage, not against the mechs that I've had in my 5 or so games anyway. (I didn't realise you could save... fml)...

Are there Any plans for achievements please?
