For a game with a pixelated style, SO smooth and clean and beautiful, I LOVE the animation and the work that was clearly put into it. Mechanics are great, sound and SFX design on point. It was a little complex for me when I was younger, but that was probably just my attention span. Overall EXTREMELY solid game, would recommend.

A small metroidvania with a surprising amount of depth. Reverie under the Moonlight features combat that is puzzle-like but rewarding to master. Jumping and rolling around your foes to avoid attacks makes you feel like the star of an action movie. A kingdom feels vast and alive despite being deserted.

Never before has beating the tar outta stuff with a giant maple leaf been so fun.
