Price Adjustment & Future Update Plan

Dear guests of Qixia Apartment and dear Steam players,

Starting today, The Qixia Diary has officially switch from free to paid. The base game is priced at 3.99USD/18 RMB.

Since the free release, we have received a great deal of valuable feedback from you. Every comment carries your expectations for the game and has become our greatest motivation to keep creating and improving. The Qixia Diary Development Team would like to express our sincere gratitude to all players who have supported us.

We are fully aware that the current content and completion of Qixia Diary are still far from a full, finished game, and there is still much to optimize and upgrade. To bring you a better experience, after internal discussion, we are officially announcing our upcoming development plans:

Main Story Implementation
The game is planned to have 10 chapters with approximately 500,000 words（chinese language） of main story, which will be updated gradually as development progresses.
We solemnly promise:
All 10 chapters will be included in the base game and will NOT be sold as paid DLC.
All players who own the game will receive these updates for free.
Visual & Audio Improvements
We will continue to optimize visuals, UI, sound effects and music to make the story more immersive.
Additional Systems
Achievement system and Collection / Gallery system will be added gradually.
Multi-language Support
Multi-language support will be implemented in future updates.
Other necessary improvements and fixes

If you enjoy the story of The Qixia Diary and wish to support our development, you can do so by purchasing the official soundtrack DLC or by recommending the game to your friends.

In the future, besides updating and improving the main game, we will also release more music and visual‑related DLC to thank you for your support.

Our team is currently working at full speed. We plan to release the first major update in mid‑March, including a brand‑new character.

We truly appreciate your patience and trust, and we will do our best to live up to them.

Regarding the Multi-Language Support for The Qixia Diary

Dear players,

Since the release of The Qixia Diary, we have received tremendous support and encouragement from players around the world. We've also seen many requests for multi-language versions. We'd like to share our future plans with you.

We plan to introduce multi-language support in future updates, including:

Traditional Chinese
English
Spanish（Newly added on 2026.2.20）
Japanese
And potentially other languages (depending on development progress)

Please kindly note: The preparation for multi-language support requires far more work than expected, including text translation, UI adaptation, cultural localization, and more. It will take considerable time to carefully craft the quality we aim for. We want to deliver the best experience possible, not a rushed version. Your understanding and patience are deeply appreciated.

We will continue to share updates in the community so you can follow our progress.
