We’re excited to share a brand-new development update for Pump To Escape – our cooperative minecart adventure where teamwork, timing, and strong pumping arms are the key to success.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been focusing heavily on refining the core feeling of the game — the physics-based co-op gameplay. Many systems are already solidly implemented:

• Co-op Physics Gameplay: You and your partner control the minecart together — timing and communication are everything!

• Multiple Biomes: Various environments with their own mood and challenges.

• Traps & Timing Events: Expect a variety of traps and timing-based events throughout your journey through the caverns.

• Customizable Controls: Adjust your input settings any time to match your preferred playstyle.

• Outfit Collectables: Find cosmetic items along the tracks and equip them in the lobby.

• Working Timer & Respawn System: Respawns don’t reset the timer — faster runs still win.

• Basic Steam Integration: Leaderboard systems are underway, with initial backend connections already working.

We're currently focused on polishing the overall player experience and making the world feel more alive:

• Finalizing the Leaderboard (Top 100 best times, compare your runs with other players)

• Improving VFX & particle effects for traps, speed sections, and crashes

• Overhauling sound mixing and establishing a clear audio pipeline

• Polishing biome visuals (lighting, accents, performance optimizations)

• Refining physics interactions to make minecart control even more precise

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming next on our release roadmap:

• More outfits and collectables

• New biomes with unique obstacles

• Improved sound design & ambient audio for better immersion

• A variety of Steam achievements, giving you more reasons to keep playing
