I haven't played this in years but wanted to give it a go again. So I went easy on the settings and played Meklar. I had a game all but won with only the Orion system left fielding a fleet. I wanted to invade them just to use up my excess harvester troops (from conquering them first and forgot to remove troop production from their worlds). It would not let me land on ANY of the worlds. I just bought Master of Orion 1, 2 and the new Master of Orion. I was about to get Master of Orion 3 for completionist sake but the reviews are really bad. Which has made me rather apprehensive about buying this game. So is it still worth getting. Is it really truly awful or just does not stack up to the other games in the series? Note: Never played any MOO games before....
