This feels more like just an isometric soulslike than an ARPG and it's not very good at either genre. Their other game, Shadows: Awakening is a lot better (also currently free on GOG). If you can get this game cheap in a bundle like I did, it's worth playing. It looks like there's a demo so I guess you could just try that before buying.

Spend your money on literally any other hack n slash. This one is a tedious slog that's great if repetitive grinding and a skill tree that gets downright boring after level 10 or so because none of the skills really make a difference in game play beyond leveling the difficulty curve a little. I'm 35 hours in and still have another 8 or so missions of boring I might play through. It's a pretty distraction. Little else. Don't see any reason for multiplayer because every class is just tank.
