The poker aspect is there. So if you just want to play anime poker you'll get your time worth out of it.

If you are like me and you want to at least get one of the characters showcased as F2P, you better be logging in every day to get the drip feed of a single pull every week.

If you drop $ for the pass, they use another currency so I couldnt tell you how much that speeds up the progress.
5% rates isn't miserable if compared to the other gachas on the market, the difference is, it feels worse because other gachas at least give you a free 10-pull at the start, and there are enough free mission rewards to net you even more pulls. Even the on-going events isn't offering much.

Do characters change the gameplay? No. There is no competitive advantage to getting a new character, unless your opponents genuinely lose focus on the Bust/All-In animations and raise w/ no hand on the river.

Does the egregious "Outfit costs 390 gem thing, but you can only purchase 250 or 500, the latter costing $26.44"
This game could easily just farm money w/ the outfits alone honestly.
But making the characters difficult to get just removes any motivation for me.

I intended to just do a few rounds of poker a day, or a big session w/ friends since that's an option.
I hate twin-tail hairstyle so seeing a whole table of the pink-haired default character was getting to me lol.

If you just want to play poker online? You're good.
I would argue there are better free version games out there (albeit, w/o the hot anime girls)

If you wanted to f2p for characters, it is a long-term time investment for your drip feed.

I love this game to bits. It kinda brought me back into poker. The character art is stunning and the music is pretty chill too. I already like it as-is so for the future I just hope that more content is added. Poker styles, characters, music, tables, things like that. Keep up the great work!
