Series Downloads Now Available Through Steam!

We're happy to announce that the Double Fine Adventure now supports downloads of the video files on Steam!

The main series (Ep 1-20) requires 46gb of storage space. Bonus content in the DLC bundle (Sidequests, Bonus Videos, Deleted Scenes) requires an additional 46gb of space. Please be sure you have the available space before committing to download.

Since this is a very new feature, the process to start the downloads is a little strange. Please go to the store page for DFA and click the link under the "Just Updated" header. The link is within the update text. This link will start the download process on your system.

Files come as DRM free high quality mp4's transcoded directly from the original masters with embedded media library metadata. The 20 episode main series also contains subtitle support and both commentary tracks.

Sidequest Videos Added to Deluxe Edition

During the production of Double Fine Adventure we released a supplemental series called Sidequests. Each of these videos is an intimate profile of a member of the Broken Age team, with discussion focusing on their lives and experiences leading up to a career in the game industry.

If you enjoyed the Double Fine Adventure but found yourself wanting to learn more about some of the people involved, Sidequests will give you a much greater understanding of the personal motivations driving the team to succeed.

These videos have been restored a bit from their original release to fix a few errors and make them fit better with the final release of Double Fine Adventure. They are added free of cost to the Deluxe DLC bundle.

The Double Fine Adventure is not over yet!

The Double Fine Adventure is not over yet! We just updated the series' Steam page with all new content and a complete remaster, so there’s a fresh coat of paint on everything! We removed the spoiler blurs and improved the picture quality to make this release the definitive way to experience the series. There are two new commentary tracks (per episode!) featuring both the filmmakers and the developers that will put the series in a whole new context. Plus in our new DLC bundle hours of deleted scenes, bonus videos, bloopers, and even entire design sessions that allow you to see a puzzle come together from start to finish. At the end you’ll really feel like you made the most of this adventure. Thank you for taking the trip with us!
