I dislike serial killer fiction so I am not super enthused about the premise, but I've tried to evaluate the demo objectively. A few other people I know who've tried the demo thought the artstyle didn't work with the subject matter. I'm guessing the artstyle is an attempt to make the subject matter more palatable?
