The operations against the Ravagers and the new “Mind hunt” event

Hello!

The time of the final standoff is upon us. Fight the Ravagers in a trilogy of brawls and take part in a special event!

A trilogy of brawls with the Ravagers: Operation “Red light”, Operation “Radiance” and Operation “Blackout”

Attention! The brawls will be available one after another. Operation “Red light” will be active from June 20 to June 26, Operation “Radiance” from June 27 to July 3, and Operation “Blackout” from July 4 to July 10.

We would like to remind you the main rules and the most essential information on the brawls:

All operations are PvP brawls, in which an initially small team of 2 “infected” players fights against a team of up to 10 regular players.
The operations take place on specially designed maps. The locations for “Red light” and “Radiance” are updated versions of existing maps. Operation “Blackout” will take place on a newly created unique map “Waderkvarn” factory.
The survivors start the battle on their own armoured vehicles. The initial Ravager players and the players “infected” by them use preset vehicles.
There are certain conditions for survivor vehicles. The PS of your armoured vehicle must not be lower than 2000 and must not exceed 10000, and it must not have any:
- boosters;
- fuel barrels or fuel tanks;
- explosives (like “Boom” or “Lancelot”);
- “Skinner” harpoons;
- “Rune-1” reactors;
- “Werewolf” cabins.
The durability of the Ravager vehicles is initially low, but this is compensated by the fact that they have an unlimited number of respawns after destruction.
Ravager visors are their weak point. If the visor is destroyed, the player temporary loses control of the vehicle.
Ravager vehicles are equipped with the “Argus” module that helps them detect and destroy mines and other projectiles.
The goal of the survivors is to reach the final point of the location, completing all the tasks.
The Ravager team should prevent the second team from completing the tasks and “infect” as many players as possible.
Infection of a regular player occurs when he collides with an infected player.
Survivors may drive away from their enemies or try to destroy them from a distance. The key is to avoid direct contact with the enemy.
After being “infected”, the survivor joins the opposite team. Now their goal is to infect their former teammates.

Special challenges and rewards

Throughout the time that the brawls are active, you will have access to special daily challenges, and you can get rewards for completing them. The challenges and rewards change depending on which brawl is active.

Operation “Red light”

Take part in the brawl 2 times. Reward: 80 Engineer badges.
Destroy 5 enemies in the brawl. Reward: “Military reserve” container.

Operation “Radiance”

Take part in the brawl 2 times. Reward: 80 Engineer badges.
Earn 400 points in the brawl twice. Reward: “Humanitarian aid” container.

Operation “Blackout”

Destroy 5 enemies in the brawl. Reward: “Military reserve” container.
Earn 2000 points in the brawl. Reward: “Memories container”.

New “Mind hunt” event

Attention! The event will be available from June 20 to July 24 inclusive!

Event levels and their corresponding rewards will be unlocked as you complete special missions and earn event experience points.
Event experience points are needed to unlock levels and receive rewards.
As part of this event, you will receive new challenges: 1 main and 1 additional challenge.
New challenges appear every day. All incomplete challenges accumulate.
Basic event rewards are available to all players. These include:
- Coupons for factions’ workbenches;
- 50 in-game coins;
- A number of stickers;
- “Hermit’s stash” container with a CK of your choice;
- “Scout’s container” with a random legendary, epic or special part.
- Resource containers;
- “Supercharger”, “Right grilled lamp” and “Left grilled lamp” decorations;
- Engineer badges.
All additional rewards (marked with an icon of a lock on a blue background) are available only to those who purchased the “Mind hunt” pack (regular or deluxe edition). Purchasing the deluxe version immediately unlocks the next 10 levels and all the rewards of already unlocked levels.
Purchasing the pack gives you access to:
- Certain already produced parts;
- Recipes for the production of certain upgraded parts on the event workbench;
- Additional in-game coins;
- 3 paints, a number of stickers, “Tines” decor and “Wind generator” range decoration;
- Storage expansion;
- For each subsequent level, starting from 51, you will receive 120 in-game coins as a reward.

Attention! The “Mind hunt” packs will be available on all platforms from June 20 to July 24 inclusive!

Treacherous Wasteland: places with highest destruction counts

Hello, survivors!

We continue to share the thermal maps that show where your armoured vehicles most often get blown to pieces during the fierce battles in the Wasteland. This time, let’s take a look at the “Factory”, “Sector EX” and “Clean island” maps.

The thermal maps show only the statistics of real players with no PS limitations.

The “Factory” map and the abandoned industrial zone

The central way around the lake is the point of the most violent clashes, but many players also make use of the tactical north-eastern path around the main battle to get a jump on the enemy from behind. However, the south-western zone around the factory itself is of no interest to anyone and is typically left empty. It’s kind of sad.

The “Sector EX” map and the snipers’ stand-off

The compact “Sector EX” map has most of the players meet their end in the center, unsurprisingly. However, the highest destruction count is actually in the narrow paths in the south and on the upper level of the plant near the windows. Be careful when peering from the cover!

The “Clean island” map and the muddy waters

Contrary to the name, the water on this map is far from clean and has an unhealthy rusty color. A lot of players drive to the outskirts of this location to take a look at the water themselves, but they rarely return to the intense gunfight in the middle of the island. The only place they go from the shore is back to the garage.

Fixed a bug that caused instant weapons cooldown if the “Lucifer” rocket revolver was mounted in combination with certain other parts.
Fixed a number of bugs that caused the “Hadron” cabin perk to work incorrectly.
Improved the model and animations of the “Morta” force cannon.
Improved the effect of the flying projectile of the “Morta” force cannon.
Improved the animations of the “Lucifer” rocket revolver.
Fixed a bug when the explosion effect of the “Lucifer” rocket disappeared when hitting bumpers, weapons and hardware.
Improved the model and textures of the “Manica” parts.
The cost of using “rare” faction workbenches is now 3 coins again.

Brotherhood stronghold: location panorama

The Brotherhood settlements have always been known for their safety. Many survivors would join Steppenwolfs or Scavengers just to get a spot in one of their colonies. But the ultimate dream of every member of the Brotherhood was to one day settle in the stronghold. Its great monolithic wall protected the survivors’ homes and the place where they were trying to build a future for themselves, hoping for the restoration of humanity. The wall always seemed impenetrable. But the conflict of humans and the Ravagers has called its strength into question.

The machines took the Brotherhood by surprise and destroyed a number of their equipment and buildings, but the humans blocked the entrance and managed to repel the attack for a while. The Ravagers tried to storm the stronghold numerous times and finally laid siege to the colony. After all, they could lie in wait almost indefinitely.

A common enemy united the survivors for some time, and many factions rushed to aid the stronghold, hoping to benefit from helping the military. It led to some of the most fierce battles of modern times to unfold at the foot of the impregnable wall.
