Another game that sat dormant in my backlog now complete. What a great atmosphere they created here to blend into a very dark and disturbing story. The scientific methods described within are truly chilling as they are parallel to current research and the moral / ethical implications they represent.

As the story of what led you to be aboard this derelict ship unfold, you get a glimpse into the darkest parts of human psyche. Pair it with great ambient noise of a dying ship and the often muffled overhead automatic alert messages and you have a memorable point and click adventure that will linger in your thoughts. Most of the item use was straight forward, though there were a few spots where things were not so obvious to move the game forward. With two more games in this universe waiting in my library, I'm eager to run back down this twisted rabbit hole and see where it leads.

Absolutely amazing game. Cutscene, graphics, dark story.. My only two complaints was some of the progression really needed me to check a guide many times as the way forward would not be what anyone would really think to do as a game element. And second was the overwhelming amount of (optional, story-related) readings from the PDAs

With the use of a guide, absolutely recommend 10/10

Pretty good game, and better than Bone Totem in a lot of ways.

+Atmosphere is on point and very creepy, blood and gore everywhere and decay, mutated growths, etc.

+Almost made this a negative since the story is passable, nothing remarkable. But the real point where it shines is how much hidden content there is to make note of during the game and realize later. You're lied to and things aren't quite as they seem. Pick up the pieces as you go

+Most of the objects you need to use in combination aren't so much of a stretch that you'd never figure it out logically. A game like this making sense a bit is a plus.

-Not very clear what to interact with at a few points since there's no way to highlight interactable objects in the environment. But I'd advise to keep looking or if you can't figure it out look up a guide.

-No options, like at all. The game was loud af for me but luckily I just used the volume mixer. While the game doesn't need a lot of options to toggle this is still unacceptable.

Final verdict is that I would recommend this game despite the flaws, I enjoyed the experience and the great horror atmosphere on the ship carries this game.
