Patch 9: Fixes and Formations

Hey heroes!

This new Gunstoppable patch fixes a bunch of issues reported by our community.

Improved survival area enemy formations
Fixed bugs with survival area (collision, enemy spawning, visuals)
Fixed bugs with full controller support
Fixed bugs with low graphics mode (beige border)
Fixed bugs with challenges (unlocking wrong ones, descriptions, rarities)
Added 0.5s cooldown to auto-melee attacks
Other bugfixes and improvements

We are also working on major features. Next update is going to be much bigger!!

Bug after picking first powerup in the demo

After picking the first powerup at the beginning of the run, the powerup choice screen refreshes and does not go away.

Hey heroes!

The new update for Gunstoppable is LIVE, giving you more challenges and rewards to work towards.

Added challenges - unlock weapons, augments, and attachments by completing challenges
Improved weapon animations - snappier kickbacks and a new katana animation
Changed controls - swapped button for reaper mode and added reload button
Other bugfixes and improvements

Clarity

The trailer gives me a headache. There is way too much chaos on the screen and not enough clarity. I can't put my finger on it but I'm not sold by the trailer. There are aspects I like like the upgrade part. Just my 2 cents

The game feels like its going for the pixel retro look but it doesnt lean into it enough so it just looks like low graphics settings on a new game. The music doesnt feel like it fits the fast pace. The movement with the wall running just doesnt feel good and I felt wasnt explained. I felt like the amount of enemies for the size of the arenas did not match. I constantly felt way too cramped. I really see potential in this. I like it. It needs some fine tuning....

Game randomly loses focus when shooting.

Shooting, particularly with the right mouse button, occasionally causes the game to lose focus until I alt-tab back into it, by which time I'm often swarmed by enemies and sometimes dead. I can't even say this is a good or bad game, but this makes it unplayable so I can't find out....
