Fixes & Improvements

Added a temporary setting that makes the game playable on AMD graphics cards. We are still looking into complete solutions to this.

Added a visual for decoration items passively collecting currency, possible to disable in Settings. You still need to collect it by hovering your mouse cursor over them.
Fixed a room decoration deletion issue that only affected some users.

Achievement: removed the Discord/Twitch Integration achievement, and simplified the Consecutive Days achievement.

In the Cooking job, the bin is closer to the centre on wider monitors.

Please note we are currently working hard to making the Social Hubs more stable. We apologize for the downtimes during the day.
Discord Integration is currently under maintenance, however Twitch integration is still up.

[Bug] No transparency

System information OS: Windows 11 pro (10.0.26200) Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor, 3801 Mhz GPU(s): AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (v. , NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (v. 581.80) Problem: No transparancy, when the game is on top all I see is the capsule and everything else except the start menu is black. Game froze and on re-open all furniture gone

Pretty much as the title says. The game froze and force closed. On re-opening all the furniture was gone, my progress in the mini games has stayed the same but I've lost everything.... =( The furniture isn't in the store either - it just seems to have wiped all items from the rooms but kept other progress - disappointing as it seems like i wont be able to get the items I had collected from progressing the professions again without having the buy them from the shop. Please help!...

Patch Update v1 – Quality Improvements & Bug Fixes

Hi everyone,

We’ve released another patch updated focused on improving day-to-day gameplay to bring the idle-game feeling better, fixing visual issues, and making core systems feel smoother. Thank you to everyone who continues to report bugs - it helps us address these issues quickly.

Fixes & Improvements

Decoration Income Timing:Income from decorations can now be collected sooner:
• 4 mins for 🟣 Uncommon
• 1.25 mins for 🔵 Rare
• 1 min for 🟠 Super Rare
(Income amounts themselves have not changed.)
Chat Log Behavior: The chat log window now stays on top longer, making conversations easier to follow.
Achievement Fixes:
Corrected achievement checks, including:
• Connect 4 rooms
• Stay in a social hub
• Complete tutorial
These should now register properly.
Floating Nano Bug:
Fixed a visual issue where the player’s Nano could appear floating in mid-air after waking up from a bed.
Friends’ Offline Rooms:
Friends’ rooms will now load and become visible correctly when visiting.
Missing Room Fix:
Resolved an issue where the most recently added room could disappear after entering a Capsule or Hub.
Player Position Fix:
Fixed a bug where other players could sometimes appear outside their rooms.

Small Patch Update – Social Hub & Stability Fixes

Hey Nano Neighbors supporters!

Good news - the servers have returned from their unexpected nap and are back online! We’ve pushed out a small patch aimed at stabilizing the Social Hub, fixing crashes, and cleaning up a handful of bugs.

The fixes listed below should now be active and working as intended. 🎉

Fixes & Improvements

Social Hub Stability:Ongoing improvements have been made to reduce issues and improve overall performance.
Social Hub Chat Log:
Chat messages will now save even if the chat window isn’t open, so conversations won’t be lost.
Gifting System:
Fully fixed and functioning as intended.
Rock–Paper–Scissors:
Correctly working again now that the servers are back online.
Slot Machine Restored:
The slot machine that went missing from the shop has been re-added.
Room Disappearing Issue:
Fixed a problem where rooms could disappear after returning from the Social Hub.
Crash Fixes:
Resolved several crashes when visiting friends or moving between hubs.
Minor Bug Fixes:
Additional small issues have been cleaned up.

Server Restart Notice

Servers currently restart apx. three times a day.

The game is fully playable during these downtimes, just not the Social Hubs.

These restarts are brief, but you may experience a short disconnect from hubs or your friends capsules when they occur.

We’re working on:

Making these restarts more consistent and predictable, and
Adding visible scheduled downtime notices so you know exactly when to expect them.

Game Crashing Bugs

Thank you for making a cute game. Unfortunately I had game breaking issues multiple times within a five minute span (after it took 3 minutes just to start the game after 5 crashes). - When game loads, clicking settings causes a freezing crash where nothing shows up. This is an issue for me because the UI is too small to see so I have no idea what the character said when starting. - Clicking on 'wishlist game' when exiting caused a crash to desktop - Clicking on an item to claim caused crash to desktop - g...

Not going to sugar coat it... it is NOT idle.. will change my review if things change in the game.

- To level the jobs you must play mini games and a few are annoying.

- You do not customize your nano character, males have blue eyes and females have weird demon fusia eyes..your hair stays the same color and all you can really change is your outfit a tiny bit, hair style, and that is about it..

Right now if all you want is a person walking around the bottom of your screen, this is for you. In terms of idle gains not so much and customization is extremely limited.

Capsule Build Mode

honestly, after a while it gets annoying when you misclick a furniture and having to reposition it (especially when you're stacking something on it) i think what would really help is that they have a build mode to prevent this annoyance, and still allow pets to be moved around so you can still move them when they're blocking on something you want to interact with....

There's a framework here for something pretty fun but in its current state it just doesn't have it, feeling more like something early access. The current loop of content is there's a few different active gameplay 'job' minigames to earn currency to get decor and more rooms. Meanwhile decor can gradually earn you money as well as a few items with currency payouts. There's a social hub and Twitch/Discord chat integration to it but it's rather bare-bones as well and awkward to get running well. Your character while adorably designed doesn't do a whole lot other than wander around and there's not many interactions for it with objects other than a few things like flopping on couches/beds, petting pets, and gambling on a slot machine. While there's some achievements as goals to grind towards you're going to see most the game has to offer, and most your idle entertainment will be decorating your capsules like a zen garden of sorts.

Important to note but not being held against the game for the obvious reason of not being officially supported is that this should be avoided by Linux users. Aside from the normal problem with these kinds of games in Proton not being able to utilize transparency to show your desktop, there were graphical issues like unicode characters used in the UI unable to display making it not entirely unplayable but rather hard to do so, so at least for now it's definitely Windows only.

I really do hope the devs continue to work on this because they seem nice from their interactions and there is something here that could easily change to being a recommend for me with some additional work to expand what's here into more of it, but for now I'd say it's an on the fence when on sale to a light don't recommend if you're not looking for explicitly what's shown in the trailer and store page description.

This is not an idle game; there is no passive income. you have to play the mini games to earn coins and AND unlock customizations. I did not enjoy the mini games. The idle part is that you can only play each game every 5 minutes (just slightly longer than it takes to run through each game once).

The avatar is limited in customization: you cannot change their face/eye color or their hair color.

The social aspect is not what I thought. I thought there would be like "chat rooms" to join. But it's more like, you can give your room code to people (such as people on your friends list or a stream chat); No one I know would play this kind of game.
But also, there doesn't seem to be anything social-based about the game itself, other than the chat aspect; the games and decor are not multiplayer.

This game is not what I thought it would be based on the description, tags, and photos provided. It is not like any other of the "bottom of your screen idle games" that I already have/ that are "similar to this game". I've never refunded a game before and now I have to figure out how to do that. :C
