Looking over global achiev's almost 80% of players quit after zone 1. You have 28% of players who clear the mountain blockade. You are losing 80% of your players in one area at the start. I ask, because I finished one game without inviting anyone but dogs but I didn't get the achievement. I see three possible reasons why I didn't get it: 1 it wasn't a full game, I started in the second biome, not the first (most likely it is this one). 2 I did go to pick up events, but when the applicant wasn't a dog, I didn't perform the Invite action. 3 I robbed and killed some traders on the way, and I think they were the extra humans that showed up on my end screen, or it might have been the applicants ...

What does the little orb thing do, if anything? I've found it twice in 2 playthroughs. I don't want to get rid of it if it does anything cool.

Was the game harder at one point, the reviews are terrible but the game seems fine now. It has a very pleasing difficulty curve .. Also was there some kind of inescapable RNG at one point ? It seems like the game can be solved with some honest effort and planning. Playing from the itch.io bundle...
