After over a year of development, the game is in a state where I'm comfortable with releasing it in early access! I'll be providing info on what I want to do with the game from here, before we reach 1.0 (release), alongside post-release plans!

Most things, with a few exceptions, like music, some testing, and the trailer you see on the store page, everything is done by me! Scarlett/Vissca, and ALCHEMIXUM is a game that would need a lot of thinking power from a lot of people who enjoy this type of game to help me figure out some more combos for everything, since, even tho everything is currently obtainable, there's definitely a handful of "oh this makes sense" mixing combinations that aren't in the game yet, so if y'all want to support me, pls do join our discord server! The game IS unfinished, but mostly on the graphics side, you'll see a bunch of colored sketches here and there, but you'll see what's gonna happen to them. If you can replicate the style accurately, do let me know. Any help is appreciated!

Each update is gonna focus on a collection book page. I'll update the assets and combinations for every element in each page every other week, alongside giving them proper hints and descriptions, making sure everything is consistent and all that :D

More sound effects for picking up and dropping elements, and just improved visuals for the game!

Somewhere in the middle of that, I'll start working on Linux and Mac support, alongside attempting to get the game working on the Steam Deck. (Mobile port may be considered)

More achievements and some more elements for most pages, maybe some new music tracks for elements.

Story content! This will come with 1.0, hopefully, it'll be just a cute little thing that you unlock by completing pages, where you can click the little checkmark button to watch a simple text-based cutscene, where you go to the place where the page takes place to interrogate some of the folk that live there about what happened to their world if they remember and just uncover more about it!

Hello there!! I have officially decided to push the release date for the early access further to next year, specifically the 2nd of February. There has been a lot going on in life, and it is also the end of the year, so my schedule is hella tight, so I'll push the game a little bit further, so I'm not releasing a rushed version of it. Progress has been crazy fast in the last month! The interface got some major changes, and I have added 600+ elements to the game! Even if most don't have a combination yet... Now, why early access? ALCHEMIXUM has proven to be a game that needs a LOT of feedback on, specifically for the recipes, so by release, the game will have an in-game tool alongside a Discord Server link so people can suggest changes to element combos alongside give some general feedback, I'll focus on polishing what's already there and will NOT add any major new features for the game. The MAIN thing I'm currently missing right now is assets, the game's missing a lot of art assets, and I've figured I'd do each ALCHEMIXUM page's assets (elements, backgrounds, and etc...) every week! Like small drops, I'd gather suggestions throughout the week, and add them every Saturday or Friday! And most importantly, DO NOT buy the game in early access if you don't want to! I just want to have this thing out already and have some peeps testing it, but please do wait for the full release if you are excited for the full game but not quite comfy with the idea of early access being a thing lul.
