Patch Notes March 3th

3 Mar

- Fixed an issue with standing too close to a structure blueprint and then building it that can cause you to go under the ground.
- Changed the stats colors to be a bit more visible (health / food)
- Fixed a rare issue that you can die in space when a planet spawns (and also made it so you can't die in space from other causes like hunger).

Demo: Why did I respawn with a rifle instead of a mining laser??

I dug to the center of the ice moon in the demo, out of curiosity. Turns out It's a magma ball that kills. But when I respawned, I had some rifle. No mining laser. The rifle doesn't terraform, so I couldn't make any ground to stand on. So, every time I tried to gather my "death bag" I died again because I couldn't get off the magma. Gravity just kept sucking me back onto it. Without a mining laser to put ground between me and the magma. Nope, not, uh-uh. The game feels to me like it hasn't had enough th...

This upcoming end game update will allow the creation of new star systems along with many more exciting things that'll be revealed closer to the update.

Early Access Release & New Laser Gun Model!

You can now purchase and play Star Crafter in Early Access!

And, the mining laser now has a new and improved look!

The demo was also updated with this. The old look is available in the settings if you want it.

If you have more questions regarding the Early Acesss, please view the questionnaire on the store page, but in short, the game is currently a complete and fully playable experience with a lot of content, but this is my best game ever and still with so much more potential, so I want to keep improving and expanding on it with the community.
New content will eventually be reflected with a higher price once the game exits Early Access.

I'm already working on the next major update, the NEW STARS update. And I can't wait to show it to you all very soon! (and then get to play it myself!)
But of course that before any major update I'll try my best to quickly push out improvements/fixes based on your feedback (as I'v already been doing with the demo).

it looks pretty generic heavy dyson sphere/satisfactory simplified. which isnt necessarily bad but youll have to bring it to stand out . didnt get far i have a 7900xtx and 7700 and this is maxing out the gpu the whole time even when turning everything down to mid, now no offence but cyberpunk on max doesnt push it that hard , i know its a demo but still it needs to function. i did like what i saw generic though it was....

It's like walmart No Man's Sky, except even less to do than NMS had in 2016. On top of that, the developer is a giant man child who lashes out people for any criticisms in discussions.

Response to the dev:

I found this game organically over steam next fest and played the demo and thought it was cool but (wrongfully) assumed there would be more to the full game. I don't know anything about your past games. Then and only then did I go check some reviews and discussions to see what people were saying. And yea your behaviour in these threads soured what positive feelings I had left and IMO it's valid cuz a developer's behaviour is always going to influence opinions of a game

Constructive criticism..

Seen a lot of back and forths between dev and randoms saying its an asset pull cash grab. I had a play of the demo, and I have some feedback. Bearing in mind that solo development is hard and assets are there for a reason, I'll take the dev at his word and give feedback to improve, and hope that some of the issues mentioned are resolved before launch.
