Hi, it's me, FVS, the solo dev of Rock Crusher!

Thank you for trying out the current demo and giving me feedback.

I'm still working hard on the game and plan to release a brand-new demo by the end of this month, which adds more content, improves the game's experience, and implements many of the suggestions I gathered from your feedback.

The blowing-off-screen behavior is awful as a starting mechanic

Coupled with a time limit, and watching your health drain away like you're playing Gauntlet, the mechanic of having to blow things off screen turns the early game into "Too bad you earned it, but you're not going to get it." It's especially bad playing on an ultrawide monitor. (Does the game then get easier if I change my resolution?) Now, it might get better with powerups, but a distasteful early game doesn't inspire people to hang around for the later game. The collection mechanism needs a serious re...

Hey, have you played the demo?

Hi, it's me, FVS, the solo dev of Rock Crusher.

The demo of the game has been out for a few days. Although I plan to keep the demo at least until the game's release, I hope you would try it as soon as possible and give me your feedback, the sooner we do it, the better the game will get.

For those who played the demo, gave me feedback, I'm very thankful for you all and I noted down all of your feedback whether it was via email, DMs, feedback form or online forums. They are all valuable materials that will help me develop the game toward the final version.

We also got luck that the demo was played by Wanderbots. I enjoyed his playthrough, a very thoughtful one. You can watch it here:

Please note that this is the very first demo of Rock Crusher, it mainly shows you the general idea of the game. Main content, QoL features, and fine-tuned balancing are still in the work.

You probably have done it already, but if you haven't, add Rock Crusher to your wishlist so you won't miss the big demo update in the future, and the release with introductory discount.

I released this roguelike tower defense game last year...

Demo window issues

Hi, I can't make the game windowed and I strongly prefer to play games windowed. Can you implement windowed mode in the demo?
