🉐 Akiba is a modest but cozy living world, frozen in its time. Crowds of people, a very simple plot, lots of loot, good customization and fun / engaging combat. Unfortunately, despite more spacious locations, a choice of finishing animations, as well as the ability to fully customize the visuals (line thickness, lighting shades, etc.), the sequel is inferior to the first game in many ways. Instead of choosing a side, there is only a choice of a girl for the ending (which essentially doesn't change the plot), there are fewer freak cosplayers (and therefore less unique equip), missions of all types are quite dull / monotonous (patrolling the streets in any situation!), and the characters have almost no time in the script. All this doesn't make the game bad, but clearly more was expected (in terms of the scale, this is more of an alternative story DLC). The latest patch has slightly fueled new interest, but is unlikely to be particularly pleasing, since instead of refining the menus or adding more gameplay features / stuff (there aren't even achievements for the new "route"), the devs decided to engage in verbal censorship (in favor of trendy nonsense), despite the fact that the game's disclaimer warns that this is a project of its time.
