KYORA is a 2D sandbox adventure for 1-8 players, where every pixel is yours to shape, mine, build or EXPLODE. Mine precious resources, craft physics-altering wands, take on powerful bosses, and build your base by terraforming the world around you.

Explore KYORA
Journey into the unexpected, in a procedurally-generated open world. Carve into the earth or sculpt toward the sky in search of magical materials. Craft matter-manipulating wands, upgrade your gear, and take on the powerful bosses in control of each biome: the Heralds. These bosses will test your reflexes, wit and careful preparation.

Manipulate Every Pixel
Let loose your sandbox creativity with pixel-by-pixel terraforming. Build bridges to new areas, sculpt and customize your dream base with terrapixel materials, or even use your terraforming powers mid-battle to construct platforms and cover.

Craft, Build & Upgrade
The world of KYORA is filled with secrets. The further you venture, the more dangers await. To survive KYORA’S forest-cloaked ruins and cross its blistering desert sands, you’ll need to use each biome’s resources to your advantage. Gather materials, forge powerful weapons and armour, plant seeds and cook up recipes to help you traverse the wilds.

Team Up With Friends
Bring your buddies with you to combine skills, creating fun synergies between wand abilities, in up to 8-player online co-op gameplay.

There’s so much more to uncover in KYORA, and we can’t wait to share even more of that good stuff you’ve come to love from the Pugstorm experience. There’s plenty of fresh and exciting features that make KYORA truly unique, but more on that soon!


Who is working on it?

If you haven’t heard of Pugstorm, they’re the development team behind the award-winning mining multiplayer sandbox game, Core Keeper! The team at Pugstorm has a new dev team working on KYORA - so don’t worry Core Keeper fans, KYORA’s development has no impact on Core Keeper updates or timelines and vice versa!

Why Early Access?

As with Pugstorm’s latest release, Core Keeper, having the community along for the ride with us is integral to the process. With KYORA’s Early Access, we’ll be focusing on integrating player feedback, and ensuring we expand the elements of gameplay that you love the most! We’ll be releasing more news on when we’ll be targeting Early Access release, and more information on what to expect once we’re a little further along in the development process.

What about localisation?

We’re planning to localise the game for release into Early Access, with the potential for further languages to be included in future updates before 1.0. We will be confirming the initial languages based on player demand - so the best way to let us know your interest is by wishlisting the game! We’ll share more info on this in the coming months.
