I backed this blind, and have only now played the demo. I must agree with all the criticisms I've read here. Inventory is a nightmare. Stamina bar is a real drag. Being unable to assign items to hotkeys is ridiculous. All the negatives are true. However, this is also not the finished game, and if the developers listen to all the feedback and manage to implement most requests, then the game will likely be entertaining and worthwhile to anyone who enjoys open world action adventure titles. I'd love to see more emphasis on the story's emotional core, maybe with branching choices affecting Nessky taming or biome restoration, defeating gem bosses to heal lands. Deeper co-op elements with Lupio (beyond switching), new game modes, or post-launch expansions for new biomes/pets would keep it fresh....

I really like the The Last Worlds : Crossed Souls from what I have seen from the trailer. The artstyle and combat seem really cool. I would like to see the gamer have real choices and consequences in addition to multiple endings.
