Best zombie game ever made

its one of my fav game

Played this years ago when it first came out on Xbox 360, It's a fun sandbox survivor experience with elements of base building, looting and multiple playthroughs.

story is short and has some interesting characters but it's part of the weaker parts of the game, it's best to think of this as a "tech demo" for what the devs were attempting to create when they made this game. It has some unique ideas (same as SOD2) but it shows its age.

Some issues I ran into where no option for native 1440P and Borderless window modes, theres third party tools for this but they should be in the game by default. For me personally playing the game on anything but the MIN graphic preset made lighting and shadows flicker constantly. thankfully there is very little improvement between the graphic presets considering the games age.

I'd say this is worth playing first just to show what started this franchise, but the sequel is miles better in almost every way minus a couple things (for me the characters in SOD1 where more interesting than in SOD2)

I LIKE THIS GAME

The game play loop at its core is fun although the limited mission types and constant radio chatter can get annoying.

More of an open world horror game, with a lot of sneaking around zombies and searching for supplies
