• Additional Content:
- New Game+
Added the ability to begin a new game on a difficulty level you have previously cleared with the weapons and Ninpo you obtained in your previous playthrough already unlocked. When starting a new game this way, your weapons and Ninpo will be reverted to level 1.
- Photo Mode
Added Photo Mode to the in-game Options Menu. You can move the camera around within a set limit to take screenshots.
- Ability to Hide Projectile Weapon
Added a "Show Projectile Weapon" option under "Game Settings" in the Options Menu, which allows you to hide your projectile weapon while it is carried on your back.

• Adjustments
- Lowered the HP of enemies in Ch. 8, "City of the Fallen Goddess"
- Lowered the HP of enemies in Ch. 11, "Night in the City of Water"
- Raised the number of enemies in Ch. 13, "The Temple of Sacrifice"
- Raised the number of enemies in Ch. 14, "A Tempered Gravestone"
- Raised the damage dealt by some of Ayane's attacks.

• Bug Fixes
- Fixed control issues that occurred when playing at over 120 FPS or while under high computing load.
- Fixed an issue where controllers would not vibrate based on computing load or FPS settings.
- Fixed bugs that caused the player to go out of bounds during certain chapters.
- Fixed bugs that made it impossible to progress during certain chapters.
- Fixed a bug which caused the game to crash during long play sessions.
- Other minor bug fixes

I don't get the Ninja Gaiden hype

As a fan of team ninja's newer games like Nioh 2 I kept hearing about Ninja Gaiden in the community and after finally trying one of them all I have to say is that this is probably the clunkiest thing I've ever played as far as action games go Is the hype just nostalgia? This game feels horrible in almost every aspect, I wish they would've remade the gameplay for modern standards as well not just the visuals. It's not like I haven't played older games either, Bayonetta is from the same era as Ninja Gaiden...

Is it censored if so, why? how can koei techmo work with fans against the problem and make everyone happy?

Why are more and more games getting censored? I'm happy that this game appears to be rather uncensored. And that only the promotion materials Appear to be censored. We'll have to see the introduction to see if that's censored as well. But hopefully this is a trend. That'll push back against the Censorial totalitarian impulses that are motivated by good intentions, but ultimately lead us into a hot hell. Having not played a Ninja Gaiden since the OG 2, I had plenty of fun with this. I do think it is somewhat lacking in terms of "oomph", the way the Black title implies. NG Black is, without a doubt, the definitive version of that game, whereas here, it's just "really good".

There are parts of this game that have aged like milk, and I wouldn't have minded them making some tweaks or adding options to disable some stuff. Ghost Fish are never fun to fight and the underwater ruins area is still one of the least enjoyable sections in any video game I've ever played.

By the end of my playtime, I started to feel the increased enemy health people had mentioned. In general, this wasn't an issue, but there are moments where you land a big Ultimate Technique that should obliterate an entire room of enemies, and one or two guys will just stand back up like nothing happened.

These minor issues and gripes aside, the act of killing a whole lot of dudes and demons is still fun as ♥♥♥♥, and I mostly loved my time returning to NG2. I just wish it was more "definitive" than it is.

Purists: let people enjoy the game

We haven't had anything from Ninja Gaiden in like 10 years and now that the games are finally being available in all platforms, purists can't simply see enjoy it. UE graphics, M&K input, classic feel, original soundtack and voice acting, the game works 100% of the time. This is a superb remaster. There have been awful remakes and remasters like Halo CE Anniversary but this one preserves its tone pretty well. Was this always this comically bad?

Last time i playeed this was in the 360 era, don't remember this franchise being this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. Combat is bad, camera is bad, movement is bad, performance is bad... I mean... Is this what to expect from ninja gaiden 4? It will be a huge pass....

This game is amazing. Don't let the disappointment from veteran players who complain it's not exactly like the OG Ninja Gaiden 2 dissuade you. This is my first Ninja Gaiden experience, and I'm having a blast. Pulling off combos and dicing your enemies to pieces feels so good. It's so refreshing after years of "souls-like" dominance to have an action game like this come out.

Can't recommend honestly. While it is a good game, it's not a definitive edition like what Black is supposed to suggest. They should've combined more stuff from the original NG2 with Sigma. Survival mode, all the costumes, and some campaign segments. I would suggest waiting for it to come on sale if you truly want this. If you want a more detailed explanation check out these videos:
