I met Sid Meier at E3 1999 and mentioned my favorite game of his was Covert Action. I remember he had a funny look as I said so. It was only afterwards that I read about "Covert Action rule", remember this was the early days of internet. Face palm!

You seriously want to make money off a classic free abandonware game, wtf? Who can I write to report these instigators? This is OUTRAGEOUS. Seriously. You should be ♥♥♥♥ing ashamed. DON'T BUY IT FROM THESE CHEATERS!

I made this little mod a few years ago and never got around to sharing it because I had no way of doing so without redistributing the actual game files. I finally figured out a way to offer the mod as a "patch" that requires the original game, as well as providing an easy way to install the "mod" alongside the original game (so you can play either version). Basically, it swaps the assistants and "date" case reward scenes so that female Max (Maxine) has a female assistant and is "rewarded" with female date...

It's a classic cold war espionage game. It deserves a reboot with modern graphics.
