Even at the discounted price of $13.49 from $15.00, I really struggled to find the value in the game that I was expecting for my money spent. The concept was interesting, as was the theme; I thought I'd give it a shot.

The first thing I noticed when loading into a match, was how ear shattering the silence was. No background noise or ambiance to even attempt immersion, and this can be said for the AI enemies on the map as well. No kind of informative audio from the AI, other than their footsteps. I think it's important to have some sort of aural queues from AI in games like this, the player needs some sort of sense of what's around them.

The AI aren't exactly interesting to fight or interact with. Just different variations of bullet spongyness it felt like. They also seemed to spawn out of thin air, anywhere around you at any given time. Including directly in front of you as you're travelling the map.

For me, the real issue comes down to a lack of distinguished personality for the game itself. It doesn't feel awful, nor does it feel good; it's just.. kind of there. I think for the price I paid, I expected something more. I personally think this game feels and plays like some sort of alpha/prototype product; and it shouldn't be charging any kind of money for the experience available.

I'm surprised. From first impressions, this is remarkably solid for what seems really basic.

Its DMZ but ported into a poly style. Though it seems low effort, the dev clearly seems hellbent on updating it.

I'm excited to see where this will go.

Actually kind of fun, AI need a ton of work but its still better then Warzone
