I have a few questions about the game

How was it ensured that the randomly generated technology tree remains balanced in each playthrough? Are there mechanisms to ensure that no civilization is severely disadvantaged by randomness? What specific physics elements affect space combat in Ephemeris? How does the mass and size of a ship affect its maneuverability and combat capability? Will it be possible to combine different technologies from the tree to design ships with unusual or particularly effective properties? Are there any restrictions o...
